The Gunners smashed their club transfer record to bring in Mesut Ozil from Real Madrid last summer, and will reportedly be looking for signings of a similar marquee nature at the end of the season.
Arsene Wenger has been given the green light to continue spending big, with the club posting strong financial results last month and in line to receive a big pay package from new kit suppliers Puma.
It is thought a striker and a winger are considered Wenger’s top priorities, although the Gunners boss is open to the idea of signing another defensive midfielder.
The club will also be on the hunt for a new goalkeeper, with number two Lukasz Fabianksi confirming he will be leaving the Emirates in search of regular first team football when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Another right back could be high on the list of priorities also, with Bacary Sagna still no closer to agreeing a contract extension and the pay rise he desires.
But it is attacking players that remain the priority, with the club being accused of over reliance on Olivier Giroud this season, especially with Lukas Podolski and Theo Walcott often struggling with injuries.
