One of the major talking points regarding Arsenal this season has been the future of boss Arsene Wenger, who reached 20 years in charge of the north London giants not long ago, but sees his current contract draw to a close next summer.

Amidst all the speculation, many Arsenal fans have long wanted a change and The Mirror has reported an intriguing piece of news today, as they suggest Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone wants to move to the Premier League... and that his switch could happen before 2018.

Simeone's contract with Atletico expires at the end of next season, which is the most likely time for an exit from the Vicente Calderon for the Argentine boss, but it's reported he'd consider a move sooner if the right club became available - and many Arsenal fans think he'd be the perfect man for them.

Having masterminded Atleti's rise in Spanish football and on the continent - he has led the club to two Champions League finals in three years - it's easy to see why many would want him to take charge at the Emirates Stadium but his style of play is very different to Wenger's.

That could potentially prove to be a good thing, though, as it would decrease the comparisons with the man he would have succeeded, and Gooners on social media are keen for Simeone to move to north London...

Meanwhile, non-Arsenal fans are worried about the Argentine potentially going to north London...
