Arsenal are the surprise leaders in the race for in-demand Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus, according to Metro.
The 25-year-old looks set for the Westfalonstadion exit after turning down a renewed contract offer last week.
And he can got be got for as little as £19.8m, which is the release clause in his contract that comes in to effect next summer.
Arsene Wenger is thought to be desperate to bring the German international to the Emirates Stadium and reports in Germany insist he is winning the race for his signature.
Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also interested but are yet to make an official move for him, paving the way for Wenger to sneak in and get his man.
However, with Arsenal’s attacking midfield quota already packed with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla, Tomas Rosicky and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, it remains to be seen where the Dortmund star would feature for the Gunners, although some reports suggest it would open the door for Atletico Madrid to sign Cazorla.
