Patrick Vieira could make a shock return to Arsenal as head of their Youth Development team when Liam Brady leaves next May.

The ex-Arsenal midfielder is currently in an ambassadorial role at Premier League rivals Man City but it is thought that he and Dennis Bergkamp are favourites to take over the Head of Youth Development post which will be coaching the future talent at Arsenal. Liam Brady announced recently that he was leaving in May 2014 after 17 years in his role at the Gunners.

Patrick Vieira is said to be happy in his role at City, according to The Daily Mail, but ideally would like to return to the training pitch and link up with former boss Arsene Wenger to nurture the young talent at Arsenal. The former Gunners captain won 3 Premier League titles and 4 FA cups during his time at the club and is known as one of the best players to grace their ranks.

Arsene Wenger has targeted Stevan Jovetic as a summer signing after failing to secure a deal for David Villa in the January transfer window when Barcelona refused to sell him. The 23-year-old striker is rated as one of the best young talents in Europe and is worth around the £25million mark.

Wenger believes that Jovetic can fill the void left by van Persie's departure to Manchester United in the summer.
