The 33-year-old midfielder is set to see his current contract expire in the summer, and he and boss Arsene Wenger have both previously stated their desire to get a new deal sorted.
The Gunners are set to offer Rosicky a one year extension due to his age, and reports suggest the deal should be concluded shortly.
“Arsene Wenger wants me to stay, he wants our co-operation to continue. I want to stay,” Rosicky told Czech News Agency CTK.
“Hopefully all is sorted out in the next few days. It would be great to play on at Arsenal for another few years.”
Rosicky was also keen to stress that Arsenal are still capable of winning the Premier League this season, despite Saturday’s costly defeat to Stoke City.
“It was a huge loss of points. On the other hand, there are still ten games left,” he added.
“In the season in which we won the title with Dortmund, we lost to Kaiserslautern a few rounds before the end and in the dressing room we were talking ‘Well, this is over now.’ Suddenly, we won all the remaining games and had the title in our hands.”
