Santi Cazorla has revealed Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta is the Spanish player he would most like to join him at Arsenal, reports the Express.

Cazorla admitted earlier this week he had been trying to persuade Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas to make a move to the Emirates last summer, and now it seems he has turned his attentions to the Barcelona playmaker.

The 29-year-old admitted of all his international teammates, Iniesta is the one he would most like to make the switch to north London.

Asked by Sport360 which player he wanted at Arsenal, he said: “Andres Iniesta, there’s no player like him.”

Iniesta did not make the cut however when it came to extra-curricular activities, with Cazorla claiming Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina is the teammate he would most like to go on a night out with.

Meanwhile David Silva would be the player he would most like to invite on holiday, whilst former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso would be the most useful teammate to take on a trip to a museum.

But the comments regarding Iniesta will get Arsenal fans most excited, as they hope the club are set to spend big this summer in order to launch a serious assault on the title and Champions League next season.
