The French defender’s future has been the subject of intense speculation, with his contract at the Emirates set to expire at the end of the season.
The 31-year-old is said to be demanding a deal worth £100k a week, as well as a £6million signing on fee.
While it seems excessive, Sagna is convinced he should be rewarded for years of loyal service in which he rejected the chance to leave the Emirates, while he has also not had a pay rise since 2008.
The Gunners have not reached an agreement as of yet, and are believed to have only offered a two-year extension on the same wages.
The Frenchman can sign a pre contract agreement with other clubs before the season is over, although Arsenal hope to hold a final round of talks in an attempt to break the deadlock.
The likes of Monaco, Inter Milan and Galatasary are all understood to be interested, and are willing to offer Sagna the pay package he desires.
Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio has already held discussions with Sagna’s representatives and they are confident of being able to land their man.
Arsenal do not want to spend money on a new right back, with Julian Draxler and Alvaro Morata their top transfer targets for the summer.
