Being by far one of the most inspiring performers in La Liga this year, Real Sociedad talisman Antoine Griezmann has been customarily linked with a move to the Nou Camp throughout the campaign.
The one-cap France winger has been at the heart of La Real’s meteoric transformation, that’s seen them rise from the Spanish second tier to the Champions League in the space of four seasons.
The current campaign has by far been the 23 year-old’s most impressive however; from his left midfield role, Griezmann has racked up 15 goals and three assists in 30 La Liga appearances.
Bursting with explosive pace and possessing a lethal eye for goal, Arsenal could certainly do with the Frenchman’s penetrating presence on the left hand side.
Accordingly, they’ve been tracking his progress for some time and launched an ill-fated £12.5million bid for the France international in the January window.
Now Barcelona are out of the picture due to their transfer ban, the Gunners have a good chance of snapping up the sought-after star in the summer. But in order to do so, they’ll have to up the transfer ante to at least £20million, whilst also staving off interest from Tottenham, Manchester United and PSG.
