As reported by The Daily Mirror, Arsenal star Jack Wilshere is a target for both Everton and Manchester City when his loan ends at Bournemouth in the summer.

What's the word?

Wilshere has been in excellent form for Bournemouth and with just 18 months left on his contract at Arsenal, clubs have been alerted to his availability.

The Mirror reckon the two most interested are Everton and Man City, both looking to bolster their midfield with a move for the England international.

However, Arsenal are also due to make a decision on his future and may offer him an extension to his contract according to the paper, something that would no doubt be appealing to the midfielder.

Ready for an elite team again?

One of the big question marks over Wilshere before his move to Bournemouth was his fitness. Making just 5 appearances in the two seasons prior to his loan move, many Arsenal fans were wondering if they could get a full season out of the talented 25-year old.

He is going a long way to answering those questions with 13 Premier League starts at the Cherries so far this term. The Mirror reckon Arsenal will track his fitness over the course of the second half of the season before deciding on his future.

Wilshere had a fairly slow start on the south coast but has being playing far more consistently over the last 6 weeks. That was never more apparent than in Bournemouth's recent 3-0 thrashing of Swansea away from home.

Whether he ends up back at Arsenal or moves away to Everton or City, Wilshere looks destined to get his career back on track.
