The jubilation for Arsenal supporters last weekend was clear for all to see, as thousands of fans crowded the streets of North London to celebrate the club’s FA Cup triumph. But if the rumours are to be believed, the Gunners’ attention has already turned to next season.
A contract extension for Arsene Wenger is in the offing as well as a substantial transfer budget. In addition to a new holding midfielder, the priority for the Gunners’ has to be the signing of a new striker.
Olivier Giroud notched an impressive sixteen Premier League strikes but noticeably suffered with fatigue at certain points of the season. Nicklas Bendtner and Park Chu-Young are clearly out of favour whilst Yaya Sanogo is too inexperienced to be relied upon just yet. Whether the new man is brought in as a rotation option, to support Giroud or even outright replace him, a new forward is definitely required at the Emirates next season.
Bearing this in mind, here are FIVE strikers that Wenger should consider bringing to Arsenal in the summer.
