Arsenal’s form against the Premier League’s top six may be rather unpleasant reading for the Emirates faithful, but they’ve fared much better in the London derbies this season.
From nine outings against capital opposition, the Gunners have claimed 22 points out of a possible 29, including double-wins against Tottenham, Fulham, West Ham and Crystal Palace.
They haven’t had such luck against Chelsea, taking just a single point from two Premier League encounters with the Blues this season. Despite the Stamford Bridge side’s better league standing however, in the London derbies table they stand a point behind the Gunners, having played one match more.
With the rest of the London clubs lagging some way behind, even if Arsenal finish the current campaign empty-handed, they can at least enjoy the unofficial moniker of being Kings of London.
