In recent years, Arsenal have utilised the emergency loan window better than any other Premier League club.

Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin are now seen as vital inclusions in the Gunners' strongest starting Xi, but their transformation from promising youngsters to first team regulars was instigated by 'toughening up' spells in the Championship.

The right-back enjoyed a short-term loan with Watford during the second half of the 2013/14 campaign before becoming Arsenal's first-choice No.2 the season after, whilst the French midfielder served a few months at Charlton Athletic prior to that seemingly career-defining display against Manchester City in January 2015.

So with the emergency loan window now open until March 24th and Arsenal's academy overflowing with as much prodigious talent as ever, we take a look at FIVE Gunners youngsters who could move to the Football League on loan in the coming weeks.

Could one of these FIVE follow the path of Bellerin and Coquelin into the Arsenal first team? Let us know by commenting below!

SERGE GNABRY

A number of Championship sides have already been credited with interest in Serge Gnabry and it seems a case of when rather than if he eventually moves to the English second tier on loan.

The German prospect exploded onto the scene during the start of the 2013/14 season with a string of promising displays but his development since has been hampered by injury and many were surprised that he managed just a single stoppage time substitute outing whilst on loan at West Brom in the first half of the season.

Still just 20 years of age, however, Gnabry has an incredibly bright future and in terms of physicality, seems a good fit for the Championship. Brighton, Fulham and Charlton Athletic are in the running to temporarily take him off Arsenal's hands.

ALEX IWOBI

Arsene Wenger clearly has high hopes for Alex Iwobi, issuing him three starts in cup competitions already this season. The Nigerian international particularly impressed during a 3-1 win over Sunderland last month.

But with Arsenal now lagging behind in the title race, in the latter stages of the Champions League and out of the Capital One Cup, first team opportunities are likely to dry up for the 19-year-old during the remainder of the season. The FA Cup represents his only chance of consistent game-time.

And having only ever represented the north London outfit since joining their academy in 2004, experience at a more modest club could see him drastically mature - both on and off the pitch.

Reading were linked with Iwobi last month but we've not heard much about their interest since the emergency loan window opened. Arsene Wenger, on the other hand, has suggested he might look to keep the versatile forward in his squad.

JEFF REINE-Adelaide

Jeff Reine-Adelaide is another who earned rave reviews for a cameo role in Arsenal's FA Cup win over Sunderland and the north London outfit have showed their faith in the 18-year-old by paying £3million to Lens for his services last summer - with team-mate Yassin Fortune included as part of the deal.

Considering he only arrived in the summer, spending the rest of the campaign with Arsenal's academy squads certainly wouldn't hurt. Nonetheless, Adelaide was knocking on the first-team door at Lens and has already earned a debut at Arsenal, so logic suggests he could be playing relatively regularly at Football League level.

Whether clubs are prepared to take a punt on a player with such limited experience in the English game, however, remains to be seen.

Daniel Crowley

A technically gifted, home-grown midfielder, Dan Crowley has inevitably drawn comparisons with Jack Wilshere and is widely regarded as Arsenal's most exciting academy player.

Roy Hodgson has already stepped in to ensure the youngster doesn't decide to represent Ireland at senior level, who he has two U17 caps for, and after being recalled from a loan spell with Barnsley in December, manager Lee Johnson described him as 'the best 18-year-old he's ever seen'.

The teenager had quite the effect in League One so other clubs in division (as well as Barnsley) would surely be keen to take him on loan for the remainder of the campaign.

Arsene Wenger initially recalled Crowley amid an injury crisis but with Santi Cazorla and Francis Coquelin on the mend - not to mention Mohamed Elneny arriving at the Emirates - the Gunners can now afford to let him go.

Krystian Bielik

Much furore surrounded Krystian Bielik when he arrived at the Emirates in January 2014. A defensive midfielder measuring in at 6 foot 2, many saw him as an immediate answer to Arsenal's limited physicality in the middle of the park.

But the 18-year-old has thus far made just one appearance for Arsenal, during a 3-0 defeat to Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup, and is clearly still some way off first team level.

So a spell in the Championship could really bring the Legia Warsaw product up to speed in time for next season and in terms of height at least, he should suit the division's attritional style relatively well.
