Arsenal are doing what they do best, winning games.

The Gunners may have started this season slowly but they are well and truly up and running now with some cracking performances thrown into the bargain, and many of their players firing on all cylinders.

It was another case of this last night as they cruised to a 2-0 win over FC Basel to keep up the pace with PSG at the top of their group.

Two goals from Theo Walcott put the game to bed within the first half hour against the Swiss side who do have a history of causing upsets against English teams.

No such worries for Arsenal, though, who now have back-to-back games against Ludogorets to prepare for.

Yesterday, then, was an evening to remember for the Gunners fans and players alike and fortunately for them we've got FIVE images that sum up the evening perfectly to look back on...

 Walcott's world

After a less than impressive 2015/16 Walcott looks like a new man this season. He's been on fire so far and put in his best performance of this campaign with two goals killing off the game last night. He looks hungry for more too, and the Gunners fans will be more than happy with that.

 Frustrating night for Sanchez

Despite the Gunners easy victory Alexis Sanchez cut a pretty angry figure last night. Things simply wouldn't go for him in front of goal and he duly lashed out at the advertising boards. It's a mark of the man's talent and standards he sets himself though, so Arsenal fans will be pleased to see such desire from one their prized assets.

 A case for the defence

The transfer window was a difficult one for Arsenal as their fans got more and more distraught with the lack of signings until Shkodran Mustafi joined. He looks an increasingly good player, though, after another shutout following the game against Chelsea, and so it could just be a case of good things coming to those who wait.

 A tale of two brothers

Arsenal's Granit Xhaka came up against his brother, Taulant, and was clearly pleased to see him. Whether or not Taulant was feeling the same way after his side had just been played off the park by his brother's side is up for debate, though.

 Things are looking good

Arsenal look like a really cohesive unit now. The players are bouncing off one another and are clearly hungry for success, too. After their slow start they're well underway now and teams had better sit up and take note, they look ready to challenge for everything this season.
