Arsenal are unstoppable right now. They picked up another three points in the Premier League with three goals against Stoke City.

A performance that showed the determination of Wenger's team, the Gunners sent Mark Hughes' team packing with what ended up an impressive performance.

It didn't start great for Arsenal, conceding a penalty which was duly stuck away by Charlie Adam.

The Gunners went to the top of the table, not on points or goal difference but goals scored, for a day at least. Chelsea are in good shape to win on Sunday and take their place at the top.

Still, Wenger's men are keeping pace and Arsenal fans are rightly optimistic about the team's chances this season.

It was a fun afternoon at the Emirates and here are FIVE pictures that summed up the action...

A bad start

Arsenal weren't too pleased about the referee blowing for Stoke's penalty. Arsenal hadn't actually been playing well up to this point, struggling to really expose the Stoke defence.

It was only after Adam stuck it away that they woke up and realised they didn't want to make things as much hard work as possible.

Walcott on the march

Theo Walcott scored his 10th goal of the season, a fine return from his 18 Arsenal appearances this season.

His instinctive finish from Bellerin's smart cross gave Arsenal an equaliser just when it looked like it could be a long day for them.

From that point on Arsenal always looked like they would win somehow. When they came out for the second half Stoke couldn't touch them.

Easy Ozil

This looping header was exquisitely taken by Mesut Ozil who scored his 9th goal in Arsenal colours this season.

The attacking midfielder was excellent throughout and showed just why many have been saying he's worth every penny Wenger can throw at him to keep him at the Emirates.

His finishing ability has stepped up a gear this season and Arsenal are reaping the rewards.

Iwobi impresses again

Young Alex Iwobi is improving all the time as an Arsenal player and stuck away his first Premier League goal of the season to give the Gunners a cushion over Mark Hughes' side.

Taking just five minutes to score after being brought on for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, he gave Wenger plenty to think about in terms of future team selection.

The young midfielder looks destined to go on to great things in the game.

You can tell Arsenal's stars are enjoying their football right now. Even at 1-0 down they played with a swagger and confidence you only see in excellent teams.

The harmony on show at the Emirates will be vital over the coming months and if they're to win their first title for over a decade, performances like the one against Stoke are going to be the sort that get them over the line.
