Recent quotes from the Arsenal right-back, Bacary Sagna, indicate that the FA Cup final is likely to be his last game in an Arsenal jersey.
The Frenchman has been a loyal servant to the club for seven years now and is out of contract in June. The club have been trying to tie him down to a new deal, but it is thought that there are some discrepancies between the offer on the table, and what Sagna is wanting.
Nevertheless, whilst Sagna will be sorely missed in the red half of North London, there are a number of potential suitors to take up his current position in the side. With Arsenal’s current second choice right-back, Carl Jenkinson, still maturing as a Premier League player, Wenger could look at some of these in order to fill the gap that Sagna’s absence will leave.
