The Addicks may not be the best team in the world, but at least I’ve had the courage and pride to stick with it. Unlike the kids these days – having live football available to them at the click of the button, with match-day coverage more shiny, glamorous and eye-catching than ever before, has made the new generation of Premier League fans a particularly fickle bunch.

Shocking stuff! Switching his North London allegiances from the Gunners to the Lilywhites. Who does he think he is? Sol Campbell in reverse? Somehow, I don’t think the Spurs massive will miss him too much. If my dad catches up with him he’s in for a right attitude adjustment.
