Juventus are amongst the top clubs interested in signing Sheffield United starlet Diego de Girolam, according to the Daily Mail.
The 18-year-old was born in Chesterfield, but has been capped for Italy at Under-18 and Under-19 level.
Italian scouts were present to watch him score in the recent friendly win over Germany, and he has been recommended to Juventus among others.
Italy national coaches rate the youngster highly, although he could still qualify to play for England at senior level.
The teenager is yet to make an appearance for the Blades this season, although he has been on the bench often.
His lack of first team action with the League One side can be attributed to the fact he has only recently battled back to fitness after suffering a cruciate ligament injury, suffered while playing for Italy Under-18’s last year.
Premier League clubs have also shown an interest in the young forward, with scouts from Arsenal reported to have watched him in action also.
