QPR forward Loic Remy

Arsenal are set to make a summer move for QPR striker Loic Remy who is almost certain to be on his way out of the club, according to the Mirror.

Wenger is desperate to improve his frontline during the summer, with Oliver Giroud’s recent suspension highlighting the Gunners’ need for a bona fide striker.

The French boss is thought to be a big fan of QPR’s Remy, who has proven to be a hit at Loftus Road – despite the R’s relegation – with five goals since his switch from Marseille.

R’s boss Harry Redknapp is expecting a busy summer of ins and outs at the club and the departure of the France front man looks to be a certainty.

He has also attracted the attention of Liverpool and is likely to be in demand over the close season, especially as he has a reported buy-out clause of just £8million.
