The two major stories surrounding Arsenal in recent days have focused on two targets; Gonzalo Higuain and Julian Draxler.

A few weeks ago both players looked like pipe dreams for the club; there was very little evidence to suggest that either move might actually go ahead.

However, over the last few days there has been a steady stream of reports linking the pair with the club, with Sky Sports now suggesting that the duo are the two most likely incomings at Arsenal this summer.

And thanks to this handy graphic produced by Oulala, Arsenal fans will begin to understand why their club is so interested.

Both players ooze quality, and these stats certainly back it up.

Gonzalo Higuain's most impressive stats come in front of goal, with his record an astonishing 36 goals in just 35 games.  He also boasts an impressive 5 shots per game, and with a goal scoring record like that you would expect at least one of those shots to go into the back of the net.

Julian Draxler's transitional stats are hugely impressive too, boasting nearly 3 completed take-ons per game, with a 71% take on success rate, alongside 27 completed passes per 90 minutes. In the 21 games that Draxler competed in last year he also managed to take part in 10 goals; a hugely impressive tally.

Both players also share a relatively similar shot accuracy percentage at nearly 60%, which proves how deadly the pair are.

Both sets of stats are impressive on their own, but if you were to combine Draxler's dribbling and passing, alongside Higuain's prolific goalscoring and shot rate - it could really be a match made in heaven.
