Premier League duo Everton and Aston Villa are monitoring Polish teenager Arkadiusz Milik, according to talkSPORT.

The 18-year-old striker has been earning rave reviews due to his performances in the T-Mobile Ekstraklasa for Gornik Zabrze so far this season.

Due to his physical presence and clinical edge he has been likened to Borussia Dortmund forward Robert Lewandowski, who was linked with a summer move to Manchester United.

He has found the net six times in nine league games for his current employer this term, which has prompted a flurry of speculation surrounding his long-term future.

The likes of French giants Lyon, Belgian club Anderlecht and former Serie A champions Inter Milan are believed to be monitoring the situation, but a move to England may tempt the hit-man.

It seems unlikely that Milik will stay put for long, with some areas of the media in his homeland reporting that a January move could be on the cards.

However, a transfer during next summer’s transfer window appears to be more likely, as his current club may be able to attract a greater fee for his services.

The centre-forward has been regularly capped at youth international level progressing through Poland’s U-17, U-19 and U-21 squads before making his debut in the set-up earlier this month.
