The agent of Porto striker and Chelsea target Jackson Martinez, insists the forward has not entered negotiations over a transfer and will not consider his future until the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.
The Colombia international is likely to be one of the most coveted forwards in Europe this summer, after two impressive seasons with the Portuguese champions since signing from Mexican club Chiapas.
Speculation surrounding the 27-year-old’s future has heightened following Porto’s domestic struggles this season.
They currently sit third in their league, a whopping 15 points behind league leaders Benfica.
Sources in Italy reckon Roma are eying a move for the forward, who has previously been strongly linked with Chelsea.
But agent Manuel Manso insists such talk is wide of the mark.
“At the moment there is not any kind of negotiation for Jackson Martinez,” he is quoted as saying on TMW.
“Until May we will not talk with any team. He’s focused on the end of the season with Porto – once the championship is finished we will see.”
The forward has fired 18 goals in 26 league games this season, and is valued at around £25million.
