Barcelona have agreed a £32million deal for Chelsea‘s David Luiz, according to the Daily Star.

Reports in Brazil are suggesting Luiz has agreed a five-year contract at the Nou Camp and will officially unveiled after this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.

It’s believed Jose Mourinho sanctioned the deal in order to raise the £32m needed to secure long-term target Diego Costa, which has reportedly been completed this week.

The 27-year-old fell out of favour at Stamford Bridge after Jose Mourinho’s return last summer and was regularly a second choice option to John Terry and Gary Cahill.

And with Luiz now expected to be on his way to the La Liga giants this summer, it’s expected that Chelsea will go ahead and offer John Terry a one-year extension on his contract, which expires next month.

David Luiz made 143 appearances in all competitions for the Blues, scoring 12 goals.
