In a bid to salvage his reputation and save his job as interim manger at Chelsea, Rafael Benitez plans to overhaul his first XI in the Champions League tomorrow night.

The Blues lineup against Danish minnows Nordsjaelland on Wednesday night and Benitez is looking to stamp his authority on an unresponsive team.

After picking up a mere two points from a possible nine in three games, the Spaniard hopes to restructure his team by dropping Ramires. The Brazilian’s contribution is understood to be in debate by his manager, reports the Mirror.

Although, Ramires won’t be the only player under the guillotine. Rafa is believed to be discontent with what he sees as a trio of players with the same playing style in Eden Hazard, Juan Mata and Oscar.

The outcome of this could possibly mean that the three will not feature together in the starting lineup, with Victor Moses handed an opportunity to impress his manager.
