Roberto Di Matteo is expecting Ashley Cole to be able to play in Chelsea's Premier League clash with West Bromwich Albion this weekend.

Cole has been out with a hamstring injury since Chelsea played at Swansea, but he could return for the game against the Baggies.

"I hope and expect Ashley to be available for the next game," Roberto Di Matteo said.

However, it seems that Frank Lampard, who has been suffering from a calf issue, is not ready to come back yet.

"With Lamps it might be a tiny bit too early, but he won't be far off."

However, speculation is growing that both stars are set to leave Chelsea very soon.

It has been reported that the mother of Ashley Cole, Sue Cole, has hinted to friends on Facebook that Cole could go to French club PSG. She is reported to have written: "Well looks like his (sic) going somwhere (sic) better hear (sic) than the talk of man u. Not too far on the Euro Star (sic)."

It has also been reported that she linked to a story claiming Cole had made contact with PSG boss Carlo Ancelotti, though it could cause trouble because clubs and footballers are unauthorised to have contact without the permission of the player's current club.

It has also been confirmed by Chinese club Guizhou Renhe that they have contacted Frank Lampard with a view to striking a deal for the 34-year-old.

Chelsea have already been boosted by news that the injured John Terry should just spend weeks, not months, on the Chelsea sidelines after what looked like a nasty injury against Liverpool last weekend.
