Chelsea boss Roberto Di Matteo has hinted further that Radamel Falcao could be joining the Blues in January by claiming that every manager would want him in their team.

British media sources heavily linked the Colombian with a big money move to Stamford Bridge this week and it appears they may have got this one right.

Falcao scored a hat-trick against Chelsea in the European Super Cup earlier this season and it seems from then on; the Atletico Madrid man has been Di Matteo’s number one January target.

"If you ask any manager, he would have him in his team,” Di Matteo told Sky Sports.

"He is one of the best strikers, probably, in European and world football.

"His ratio of goals per game is quite impressive, not just this season but over the last three seasons, at Porto and Atletico Madrid. "

Falcao has a release clause in his contract that allows any club to speak with the striker if they bid £48million first.
