Chelsea will face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals following their heroic comeback against Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night.

Jose Mourinho’s side will believe it’s their year again after becoming only the fourth team in Champions League history to overcome a two goal deficit in the second-league of a tie, and they are just 180 minutes away from the final in Lisbon.

Demba Ba’s 87th minute winner put the Blues through on away goals against the French giants, meaning they will be flying England’s flag alone in Europe following Manchester United’s defeat to champions Bayern Munich. It was a moment to remember for Chelsea, particularly with Mourinho doing his famous sprint down the touchline again.

The Champions League was the only title that eluded Mourinho during his first spell as Chelsea boss, but there is increasing belief that the wait for the Special One to bring to the trophy to back to London is almost over.

The tie will also see long term Chelsea target Diego Costa come to Stamford Bridge in what could be his chance to show the Blues what he’s all about before a potential move this summer.

The other semi-final sees Real Madrid take on champions Bayern Munich.
