Kevin de Bruyne is not interested in joining Bayer Leverkusen which has hit Chelsea’s hopes of landing Andre Schurrle, according to the Mirror.
Chelsea are keen to land the German attacker and appeared to be closing in on a move after Leverkusen director of sport Rudi Voller arrived in London for talks last week.
However, part of the deal would see De Bruyne, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen, head to Leverkusen but reports now claim the Belgium starlet is not keen.
Borussia Dortmund are said to be interested in De Bruyne and the 21-year-old would prefer to go there over Leverkusen, much to the frustration of Chelsea.
Schurrle is valued at £20million and it remains to be seen if a deal can still be pushed through if De Bruyne is no longer in the equation.
