Brazilian midfielder Paulinho has admitted that he will consider his future at Corinthians in the summer according to talkSPORT.

The 24-year-old has been targeted by Chelsea as the successor to Frank Lampard in their heart of their midfield and are prepared to make an audacious bid in the summer.

The Brazilian international featured against England at Wembley last week and is now considered a regular in the green and yellow.

The creative midfielder was voted in the team of the year in Brazil last season and has attracted many European admirers including Inter Milan, so Chelsea will have to be quick if they want to get their man.

With Lampard’s future still in the balance it is though that the West London club will wait until the summer to make contact with Corinthians regarding a deal.

Paulinho has admitted that he doesn’t know if he will still be in Brazil when the new season comes around.

"I do not know what will happen in June. Nor can I say with certainty that I will stay or go away, we will see,” Paulinho said.
