Corinthians have slapped a £15m price tag on Chelsea target Paulinho, according to reports from talkSPORT.

The Blues have been linked with the Brazilian star in recent weeks, with manager Rafael Benitez keen to get the club’s Premier League title push back on track.

As well as the Blues, both Liverpool and Manchester City are thought to be interested in the midfielder, who has been earning rave reviews for his performances in the Brazilian top flight.

Corinthians are believed to be desperate to keep him at the club, and have now stated that they won’t listen to offers below £15m in an attempt to reduce interest in his signature.

Paulinho helped the South American to beat Chelsea during this season’s Club World Cup tournament, and is believed to have attracted the interest of the Londoners in doing so.

His valuation is likely to keep him at the club for the remainder of this season, but a desire to play in one of Europe’s top leagues may tempt the 24-year-old to push through a move at the end of the season.

Alongside the Blues, Inter Milan are rumoured to be monitoring the situation closely with the club’s bosses keen to add depth to their squad.

Paulinho, who won his first international cap last year, has made six outings for Brazil notching two goals.
