According to Sky Sports, Lille defender Lucas Digne insists he is happy at Lille, despite attracting attention from Chelsea.

The 19-year-old impressed for the French outfit in the 2011/12 campaign making eighteen appearances in his breakthrough season at the club. As a result, it is thought that the European Champions are keeping a close eye on the progress of the French under-20 international.

However, Digne insists that he has no intentions to leave Lille, “It is pleasant to hear rumours of interest, but it doesn’t disturb me.” Digne added, “Lille is the club of my heart, I am under contract under 2016, and I have no desire to leave.”

The left-back is also conscious of leaving Lille to early in his career and as a consequence making him unsettled, “Everything is fine here and there is a real danger that if you want to leave too early it could burn you out.”

Chelsea fans will be able to look out for Digne in the Champions League this season as his Lille side face a tough ask in a group alongside Champions League runners-up Bayern Munich, Valencia and BATE Borisov.
