If you hadn't heard, there's a small matter of Manchester United vs Chelsea creeping up on us and we're just a matter of days away from the crunch fixture.

On Sunday, Antonio Conte's Chelsea welcome Manchester United to Stamford Bridge in one of the biggest games of the season so far and for both teams, it's a must-win.

Manchester United go into the game in seventh place in the table whilst the Blues are in fifth.

Depending on other results, a win could take Chelsea to the summit of the Premier League in a game that will see Jose Mourinho return to the Bridge for the first time as Manchester United manager.

And if past games are anything to go by, we're in store for an absolute cracker.

So with that in mind, we want to open the vault to see some of the best strikes scored by Chelsea in this fixture down the years.

Juan Mata

Kicking us off is former Chelsea flame Juan Mata, whom Blues fans will hope won't be returning to haunt his former team come Sunday.

The Spaniard enjoyed a number of fruitful years at the Bridge before making the move north to Manchester and this free-kick in a 3-2 United victory back in the 2012/2013 season is absolutely scrumptious.

If he pulls that out of the bag again this weekend, will he celebrate?

Demba Ba

Demba Ba only dispatched on 14 occasions for the Blues, but this one against the Red Devils really was something special

Whilst not the biggest piledriver in this list, the skill to hook the ball over the keeper when you're running directly towards goal is fantastic - and that's what makes this goal more than worth of making our top five.

Samuel Eto'o

Again, whilst technically not being the best goal in Blues history, Samuel Eto'o' short Chelsea career was pretty much defined by this fine hat-trick scored against United back at the start of 2014.

It came in a 3-1 home win for the Blues and the trio of strikes proved just why Eto'o was one of the best for over a decade. A fantastic player.

Jesper Gronkjaer

Jesper Gronkjaer was a man who went completely under the radar for much of his stay at Chelsea.

He got plenty of opportunities on the pitch though and this screamer against Manchester United was arguably the highlight of his career. He later went on to have spells with Birmingham City and FC Copenhagen, but his time at Chelsea will be remembered for this wonder-goal.

Tiago Mendes

Arguably the highlight of this top five is Tiago Mendes' sublime strike against Manchester United from back in 2005. It was one of just four goals he dispatched for Chelsea during his time at the Bridge, but this one really was special.

The dip, swerve and power he got on this ball made the shot unstoppable and we've got to give it to him, this was some serious tekkers.

But will we see a goal just like this on Sunday?
