Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has praised his side’s attitude after they ran out comfortable 3-0 winners against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

The Blues have been rejuvenated since the Italian trainer’s arrival in West London and were too good for the newly promoted side yesterday.

Star attacker Eden Hazard was back to his best and scored in the victory over Sean Dyche’s men, while Willian and Victor Moses also got on the scoresheet for the hosts.

The win continues Conte’s perfect record since moving to Chelsea and the Italian coach has admitted that he was happy with how his side performed against Burnley.

“I’m pleased with the performance and the win,” he told the club’s official website.

“We played good football with good ball possession. We created a lot of chances. The most important thing, after 13 games conceding a goal at home, we didn’t concede a goal. That is good news for the players, for me and for the fans.

“It’s a pity now there is this international break. After three wins I wanted to continue to play games but we have to stop.

“With my staff we will continue to work in this period of rest, to watch the game, to watch the good things – many - and watch the bad things - a few - and try to continue to improve.

“We have now played four official games - against West Ham a good game, against Watford so-so, this game we started very well and for the whole game we played good football.

“I’m also pleased because I saw the idea of our football today.”

Chelsea supporters will be confident that on current form their side can put forward a Premier League title challenge this season.

The West London club are likely to be busy in the transfer market over the next couple of days, with Conte admitting that he wants to sign new faces before the window shuts on Wednesday.
