Almost certain to clinch the Premier League title against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, few expect drastic changes to Chelsea's starting XI this summer. In fact, they've clearly unearthed a title-winning formula.

The Blues' squad depth, on the other hand, leaves a lot more to be desired. Jose Mourinho's barely rotated this season; there's a huge gap within the squad in terms of league starts, with Ramires on eleven, Diego Costa on 23 and everybody else laying either side; and when he has decided to, it's often backfired - the shock 4-2 defeat to Bradford City in the FA Cup being the most predominant example.

So perhaps it's time the Premier League champions-in-waiting considered some squad signings for the coming transfer window - a task that, ideally, should cost the club as little as possible in terms of transfer fees.

Thus, using our god-given powers of transfer know-how, we at Football Fancast have listed FIVE such players the west Londoners should target this summer.

JAMES MILNER

If there were such a thing as a world-class squad player, Manchester City's James Milner would firmly belong in that category

What's not to like about this guy? He's highly versatile, two-footed, creative yet industrious, an incredible athlete, home-grown, renowned for his professionalism and immensely experienced, boasting two league titles, 415 Premier League appearances and 53 caps for England.

He's the epitome of dependability and sacrifice for the sake of the team. Furthermore, the 29 year-old looks set to leave the Etihad on a free transfer this summer, after recently rejecting a three-year contract from the Citizens.

That will see the Three Lions midfielder enter the coming transfer window as one of its best value-for-money bargains - but would Milner be prepared to trade the City bench for the Chelsea bench, without any assurances over first team football?

ROB GREEN

Newcastle United v Queens Park Rangers - Barclays Premier League

There's been plenty of talk about where Petr Cech might end up this summer but the issue of finding a replacement understudy to Thibaut Courtois hasn't received nearly enough air-time.

One potential solution, however, courtesy of British tabloids, comes in the unassuming form of QPR's Rob Green.

The England international has never quite escaped the shadow of his absolute howler at the 2010 World Cup. But he's now 35 years of age and offers vast Premier League experience, with 262 appearances under his belt from spells with Norwich City, West Ham and QPR.

Furthermore, the 6 foot 3 shot stopper has been in fantastic form this season, making the most saves of any Premier League goalkeeper, a whopping 105, whilst keeping six clean sheets in 33 appearances.

If Rangers fail to avoid relegation, they'll be keen to get Green off the wage bill this summer. According to The Express, they're willing to sell for just £2million.

PEDRO

What an addition this would be. Barcelona's Pedro is a man who's done it all; won La Liga, the Champions League (twice), a World Cup, a European Championship and played alongside Lionel Messi in the greatest club side football has ever seen.

Chelsea's pragmatic style is a far cry from tiki-taka but the Spain international is blessed with many transitional traits, particularly his netting prowess, versatility and incredible work-rate, as a nomadic winger-forward who's done Messi's share of running for the best part of the last six years.

Despite boasting 97 goals in 311 appearances for Barcelona, the 27 year-old looks set to leave the Nou Camp this summer, having made just seven starts in La Liga since Luis Suarez' debut back in November.

The Express rate him at around the £24million mark, but without the guarantee of regular football, Pedro could opt for one of Chelsea's Premier League rivals instead - with Arsenal and Liverpool both mooted as potential suitors.

KI SUNG-YUENG

The fantastic performances of Ki Sung-Yueng have gone surprisingly unnoticed this season.

He's been one of the main driving forces behind Swansea's impressive results as the metronome in their midfield, averaging the third-most passes of any player on their roster and boasting a pass completion rate of 89.8%, whilst netting seven times in 31 Premier League appearances.

Chelsea have struggled to retain possession at times this season and the South Korean international could well be the answer, as a somewhat more technical option to back-up midfielders Ramires and John Obi Mikel.

Now a shoo-in for the club's Player of the Year award, however, and with three years remaining on his current contract, it's unlikely Swansea will let the 26 year-old leave on the cheap.

The tabloids haven't devoted him many column inches of late either, so the Welsh outfit's valuation remains unclear - but it probably lies somewhere between the £10million-£15million mark.

DANNY INGS

Danny Ings' influence has disappointing waned in recent weeks, but for a 23 year-old striker representing a club at the foot of the table, nine goals and four assists in 31 appearances is a very promising return for an inaugural Premier League campaign.

In addition to his output, the Burnley's youngster's intelligence, movement and fleet of foot particularly stand out, suggesting he could ply his trade at a significantly higher level.

The Blues need more options up top; Didier Drogba has been called upon more than expected this term but the Ivory Coast international could leave Stamford Bridge in the summer to continue his playing career.

And although Ings isn't of Chelsea's quality just yet, any prodigious home-grown player available for just £5million, through a compensation agreement upon the expiration of his contract this summer, is surely worth the punt.
