Daily Mirror.

The Blues are refusing to offer Lampard a new deal when his current one expires at the end of the season, so the midfielder will be forced to leave the Bridge in the summer.

The Galaxy are ready to offer him a two-year deal worth £6million, but it is thought Lampard will not make any decision until the close season when Rafa Benitez’s successor will be announced.

Lampard is holding out hope that whoever takes charge will want him on board, and this could be a real possibility if Jose Mourinho was to return to the club.

For now though the 34-year-old is staying focused on winning silverware this season, but he will not be short of offers if he does cut all ties with the club in June.
