Yohan Cabaye has encouraged Eden Hazard to join him by making a move to Paris St Germain in the summer, according to the Express.
Cabaye played with Hazard at Lille, and is set to go head-to-head with his former teammate when Paris St Germain take on Chelsea in the quarter finals of the Champions League.
And the former Newcastle midfielder has encouraged his new club to make an effort to sign the 23-year-old at the end of the season.
“Who would I recruit if I was athletic director? Hazard is a player I would like to see at PSG,” Cabaye said.
“It would do so much good in Paris and for the championship. He is one of the best players I’ve played against.”
And Cabaye believes his side will have to be at their best to contain the Belgian, even though they are already aware of the threat he poses.
“Eden Hazard is THE Chelsea player,” he added.
“He is a player that we will need to be careful about, we will need to monitor him.
“He can make the difference at any time, can be dangerous every time he touches the ball.
“But everyone knows that. There are ways to stop it.”
