Fans are spoiled for choice when it comes to naming the most skilful player in the world.

The likes of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Ronaldinho are always the first to be mentioned when discussions are had, but no one really considers anyone else. What about Chelsea's Eden Hazard? Or even world champions freestyler Sean Garnier?

You have to look beyond the realms of professional football to really find some of the world's most skilful footballers.

So we asked fans who they thought was the world's most skilful player in a public vote last week. It had a mix of professional footballers, world class freestylers and professional futsal stars.

And after almost 300 fans had their say, we've got a very, very clear winner.

Remember, if you think you're not going to cope without watching the likes of Hazard, Messi and Ronaldo during the summer, you can still watch the world's best freestylers and Futsal players LIVE in London and Birmingham in July at N5L, which is the event that will change football forever. Here are the top five most skilful players in the world as voted for by YOU...

5. Neymar

Straight off the back of helping Barcelona outclass Bayern Munich in this season's Champions League semi-final, the Brazilian superstar has now been voted in the top five most skilful players by the fans. It doesn't get much better than that, does it?

He's scored 52 goals in 88 first team appearances for Barcelona since signing for them from Santos in 2013, and he continues to be his country's go-to man when it comes to major international tournaments.

And you simply can't deny that he's one of the best players in the world right now.

4. Cristiano Ronaldo

Not a surprise that he's in the top five, though a huge surprise that he's only been voted in at number four.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the Ballon d'Or winner and, quite frankly, ridiculously good at football. The Portugal international has netted an astonishing 306 goals in just 297 first team appearances for Real Madrid since signing for them in 2009.

There's no doubting his ability, but the fans appear to have snubbed him in favour of three other players...

3. Ronaldinho

Some will say Ronaldinho IS the most skilful player to have ever lived. Well, clearly those people didn't vote in this poll.

Coming in at third, the Brazilian magician earned a reputation for being one of the few players in the world who simply did things with a football most people could only dream of.

And all with a smile consistently on his face. The man simply loves playing football and is, quite rightly, regarded as one of the greatest players to have ever walked the planet.

2. Lionel Messi

The best player in the world right now? He's been competing with Cristiano Ronaldo for that accolade for some time now.

407 goals in 478 first team appearances for Barcelona pretty much does that for someone's reputation in the game. The Argentine is from another planet and it's hard argue against the fact that he's the best player to have ever walked this earth.

But he's not the most skilful...

1. Eden Hazard

So just weeks after being named the PFA Player of the Year, the Belgium international has now been voted as the most skilful player in the world by the fans.

There's no denying that he deserves it. Hazard has been instrumental in Chelsea's title winning campaign this year and at just 24 years of age, has the potential to reach the very top - that's if he's not already there.

One of the hottest properties in the game right now, Hazard is literally cleaning up when it comes to awards and accolades after yet another unstoppable season.
