Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard could move to Serie A at the end of the season, according to his agent.

The Blues midfielder’s contract with the Premier League club is set to expire this summer, and it is unlikely that they will offer to renew the deal.

This has led to speculation that the 34-year-old may leave England in search of a new challenge, with Lazio thought to be highly interested.

His agent, Steve Kutner, admitted that a move to Italy is a possibility:

"We don't rule out anything.” He is quoted by Cittaceleste via Sky Sports.

"The most important is only the good of the player and the possibility to play again at high levels."

When questioned further about the possibility of a switch to Lazio he said: "Only the facts will say if it can be the right club."

Kutner went on to state that Lampard is fully committed to Chelsea, but that he will almost certainly be leaving the club at the end of the season:

"At this time, Lampard thinks only of the present. That is Chelsea.

"On the future, the only certain thing is that he'll change team at the end of the season.

"Frank wants to play in a great team, able to fight for important goals and winning other trophies."
