Frank Lampard feels that the Blues are still in with a chance to challenge for the Premier League title come the summer of 2013

The Chelsea midfielder has personally scored three goals in his last two starts, with a brace coming against Everton as the Blues fought back to win 2-1 at Goodison Park. Despite this vital win, the West London club are still 11 points behind Manchester United who currently top the league.

However, with four wins in succession Rafael Benitez’s new look Chelsea are on a roll, one in which Lampard believes could end in 2013 with the league trophy taking pride of place in the Stamford Bridge trophy cabinet.

Speaking to Sky Sports and responding to questions related to their title credentials, the midfielder declared, "Of course we can still win the league, it is possible.”

"If we concentrate on ourselves, win our games, put a long run together and we can put pressure on Man United, who knows?

"It's the position we've put ourselves in because we had a funny run in November and December and we were top and now all of a sudden we are adrift - but we can't look back at that

"We have to be positive and the big change going into games is attitude with a desire not only to pass and move the ball but to get close and work for your team-mates.

"When we have that we can do what we want. We need to carry on that starting with QPR."
