It’s crazy to think that last night the world’s most expensive defender, David Luiz, was on the end of a 7-1 drubbing in a World Cup semi-final… SEMI-FINAL. Everyone’s favourite big-haired clown in football boots was firmly at the centre of the mauling as hosts Brazil crashed out spectacularly at the hands of those pesky Germans. As well as being truly awful, Luiz was also partly responsible for Miroslav Klose breaking Ronaldo’s World Cup scoring record. Terrible day at the office…
It’s fair to say that the now PSG man – the French champions must be in a state of shock – will want to forget the 8th of July 2014, which will surely be the worst day in his career when he looks back.
