According to reports in the Telegraph, Branislav Ivanovic could be on the verge of ending his long relationship with Chelsea.

What's the story?

The Telegraph suggests that with his contract due to expire this coming summer that Ivanovic could be on his way out of Chelsea on the cheap, with Italian giants Juventus looking to capitalise and bring the Serbian international to Serie A.

Ivanovic has found himself out of favour at Stamford Bridge with Victor Moses sensationally taking up his traditional spot as a right wing-back.

The Serbian international hasn't started a game for the Blues since September and that's prompted questions that the club won't be looking to renew his contract when it's up.

With the defender still able to provide squad depth at right-back and centre-back, the Telegraph reports that Conte may be unwilling to let him go midway through the season.

With a direct opportunity to move to another massive club however, will Ivanovic be eager to make the switch?

Club veteran

If Ivanovic does move on, it would signal the end of a long and illustrious relationship between the two parties.

The defender has made a massive 370 appearances for the club, many of them during successful times.

Overall, the 32-year old has won eight major honours with the Stamford Bridge side including three league titles and a UEFA Champions League.

He's played a big role in all of that, most notably scoring the last minute goal that secured UEFA Europa League glory in 2013.

If he does move on it's likely he'll always be welcome back at Stamford Bridge and can leave knowing that he achieved everything there was to achieve with Chelsea.
