According to reports from The Telegraph, Chelsea captain John Terry is set to make a comeback against Leicester City in Saturday's 12.30pm kick-off.

What's the word?

The former England centre-half has been out of action since early September, after injuring his ankle in the dying embers of Chelsea's 2-2 draw with Swansea City. That's rendered him stuck on the sidelines in recent weeks but Terry partook in training on Thursday and The Telegraph are tipping him to make a comeback when Leicester City travel to Stamford Bridge this weekend.

What impact could he have?

In short, a massive one. Joe Cole once said Chelsea play 10% better when Terry's on the pitch and even at the age of 35, that still appears to be true. Indeed, in his absence, the Blues have suffered huge defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal at home, incurring an aggregate scoreline of 5-1. The west London outfit fared much better against Hull City before the international break, but neither Gary Cahill nor summer signing David Luiz have looked particularly solid. Terry will provide much-needed organisation at the back and leadership throughout the starting XI.

Will his return force a reshuffle?

It's entirely possible. The Blues were much more solid defensively against Hull City as Antonio Conte started with a three-man defence for the first time. But the system doesn't necessarily suit Chelsea's veteran skipper, lacking the pace for a wide role and a lesser candidate than Luiz for the central slot, which is all about bringing the ball into midfield. With that in mind, don't necessarily rule out Conte reverting back to some variation of 4-3-3. After all, Terry is still Chelsea's best defender and the Blues must accommodate to get him back into the starting line-up.

Any other team news?

One positive and one negative for the Blues. Victor Moses should be available for Saturday, despite missing a fixture for Nigeria during the international break because of a hamstring complaint. He's been effective from the bench this season and impressed in the right wing-back role against Hull. On the other hand, Willian's been granted an indefinite compassionate leave after his mother lost her long-running battle with cancer. He's certain to be absent for the Foxes' visit.
