Today, Antonio Conte's Chelsea play host to Tony Pulis' West Brom as two of the Premier League's most in-form teams do battle in West London hoping to continue their unbeaten runs.

The Blues have been in sensational form in recent months, recording eight straight victories - scoring 22 goals and conceding just twice in the process.

Antonio Conte has masterminded the west Londoners' recent turn of fortune. The club were dwindling in fourth place before his famous change of formation to 3-4-3 following a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal in September.

Nonetheless, this Sunday, Chelsea take on a side West Brom high on confidence after beating Pep Guardiola's Manchester City 1-3 rather convincing at the Etihad Stadium. Tony Pulis' Baggies will provide a challenge that will combat Conte's physical and solid style of play.

Here at FootballFanCast, this is the starting XI we think Conte must pick to ensure eight victories becomes nine.

GK: Thibaut Courtois

Thibaut Courtois

The Belgian goalkeeper has indeed rediscovered his world-class form under Conte following an abysmal season last term.

Now, Conte has reassured Courtois of his starting position and against West Brom, the Belgian must remain commanding and robust when claiming crosses.

Pulis' teams are notorious for their ability in the air, and it will be the Baggies best form of attack.

Thankfully after last weekend's horror challenge, David Luiz still has his knee attached to his leg.

The Brazilian defender received a lot of criticism for his return to Chelsea, but the facts are present that since Luiz has been playing for the Blues regularly, they have been undefeated and defensively solid.

Luiz must contain Salomon Rondon this Sunday, a task he should overcome considering his recent run of form.

CB: Gary Cahill

Even though his form has been patchy for the most part of the season, the uncompromising defender should get the nod. Kurt Zouma may be back from injury but it seems too soon to throw the youngster in, while John Terry remains sidelined.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

CB: Cesar Azpilicueta

Is there a more underrated defender in the Premier League? 'Spanish Dave' as he's known is west London remains one of the most consistent players in the division and has been pivotal to Conte's defensive strategy.

Azpilicueta will need to be wary of West Brom on set-pieces, and as one of the smaller members of the Blues' squad, he must ensure he doesn't attempt to man-mark someone like Rondon, who outranks him physically.

RWB: Victor Moses

Nigerian midfielder, turned full-back, Victor Moses falls into potential Player Of The Year category right now.

Under Conte, Moses has become an integral part of the new-look Chelsea set-up, even though his Stamford Bridge career looked to be over a matter of months ago.

Against West Brom, he must contain the fiery James McClean.

LWB: Marcos Alonso

Marcos Alonso

Many Chelsea fans were questioning Antonio Conte for signing the former Sunderland loanee. However, Alonso has been hugely significant to the Blues' success, and no defender has had more goalscoring opportunities than Alonso this term so far.

Against West Brom, Alonso can stretch the robust defence who are unlikely to provide any gaps for Chelsea to exploit.

With the pace on the counter-attack West Brom possess, Alonso must not neglect his defensive responsibilities, though.

CM: N'Golo Kante

Kante v Man United

This question must be asked now: if you have N'Golo Kante in your team, are you guaranteed to win the Premier League?

The dynamic midfielder has added much-needed energy and security to Chelsea, which has enabled the flair players in the side to hurt teams.

CM: Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas

One week ago Cesc Fabregas' Chelsea career looked over.

However, an influential performance against Manchester City last weekend has many Blues supporters questioning whether he can have a significant impact on their title challenge after all.

Fabregas' vision and creativity are unique within the Chelsea side, and another performance against West Brom like the one witnessed at the Etihad Stadium could ensure his Stamford Bridge career continues longer than expected.

RW: Willian

Willian

Former Barcelona forward Pedro has been in sensational form in recent weeks, but following his impact against Manchester City, Willian is deserving of his opportunity in the first-team.

A stunning breakaway goal gave Chelsea the lead last weekend, and it further highlighted the Brazilian's capabilities.

More of the same against West Brom will give Conte a few selection headaches for weeks to come.

LW: Eden Hazard

Eden Hazard

Conte has restored Eden Hazard's world-class form and the Belgian is overwhelming opposition defences once again.

Hazard has provided crucial goals and assists in recent weeks and with Marcos Alonso behind the Belgian winger, his backward responsibilities are limited.

In a game that could be a frustrating one for the Blues, a moment of magic from Hazard could be the deciding factor.

ST: Diego Costa

As it stands, Diego Costa is on the road to claiming the PFA Player Of The Year award.

Crucial goals, mesmerising displays and more significantly keeping his temper intact have been the catalyst to the Blues' success this season.

Costa is irreplaceable at the moment, and Conte cannot even consider dropping the Spaniard. Another goal against West Brom will put the Blues in cruise control for another Premier League title.
