Chelsea would have dropped points against a smaller side like Leicester last season. Well that’s the general consensus. However with a raft of new signings and a sprinkling of added quality, the Blues are really looking as if they will be at the very top when the season draws to its close next year after dispatching the sort of team they struggled with last term.
So why do they deserve their tag as title favourites? Here’s three reasons we at FFC Towers have come up with…
Jose called for a top class striker last term, slating his batch of expensive yet blunt forwards. Costa is now in, and boy has he made a difference.
diego costa is going to be the difference this season, scarily good already

While Costa and Fabregas have been grabbing headlines, Hazard is still the heartbeat of the Chelsea team. The impish Belgian once again shone today, netting a wonderful goal.

With Drogba coming off of the bench, it’s obvious what quality the Blues have in their ranks. As well as strikers, they have plenty of creative backup and a more than enough to cover injury crisis at the back. Scary.
The first half seemed like the kind of game we might have drawn last year, second half showed our improvement and squad depth this yr #CFC
