If there is one player that might not be enjoying life under Antonio Conte it's Cesc Fabregas, who has struggled to lay down a marker ahead of the Italian's appointment at Stamford Bridge.

The Spanish centre-midfielder has been ousted in favour of N'Golo Kante and with the Frenchman's form showing no sign of settling down after a blistering campaign last time out, he could struggle to get in the side.

At the time of writing, he has made just two Premier League appearance so far this campaign with both of these coming from the bench. That totals just 26 minutes of game time in the top-flight this season which for a player of Fabregas' quality just isn't enough.

It only goes to show the kind of depth the manager has at his disposal but unfortunately for former Barcelona man Fabregas, it's left him short of first-team opportunities going forward.

But there may be a light at the end of the tunnel with AC Milan reportedly interested in a move for the former Mataró youth man.

So with that in mind, would Cesc be a canny addition to the Serie A giants?

So here are three reasons why Cesc Fabregas would be a great signing for AC Milan...

Bags and bags of experience

If Milan are looking for someone to add genuine quality to their midfield then they won't do any better than Cesc Fabregas, who has a ridiculous amount of experience playing at the very highest levels in the world.

He's been capped over 100 times for Spain and has over 550 professional appearances for Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea, with over 115 goals to his name too.

Milan have won just one of their first three league fixtures this season and if they're looking for January additions, they could do far worse than Fabregas.

Milan are lacking quality in the middle-of-the-park

After Juraj Kucka's sending-off in the 4-2 defeat against Napoli before the international break, it's clear the Rossoneri are lacking real quality in this position on the pitch. Keisuke Honda is more of a "flair" midfielder whilst Riccardo Montolivo has looked sluggish at times, even at this early stage in the season.

Fabregas would definitely add that quality that Milan need to break opponents open with relative ease, something they have struggled with so far this season.

Carlos Bacca needs someone to offer him assists

After a topsy-turvy summer, we know Carlos Bacca will remain an AC Milan player until at least January, where he could be joined by Cesc Fabregas.

As we've mentioned in the earlier slide, the likes of Suso, Sosa, Montolivo and Bonaventura have all failed to give the Colombian the chances he needs to make a difference up front.

But Fabregas has been pulling the strings in midfield's all over the world for years now and he'd be a real quality addition to their squad.
