And so a wonderful week comes to an end for Chelsea as they managed to become the first and only Premier League team to have beaten Manchester City away this season and their win over Newcastle today sent them on top of the League.

A hat-trick by Eden Hazard resulted on a 3-0 victory for the Blues with the Belgian drawing first blood on the 27th minute and following up with a second seven minutes later after an incredible assist by Samuel Eto'o. Chelsea pulled the plug after Frank Lampard allowed Hazard to complete his hat trick with an accurate penalty shot.

The race to the top is now very intense as it is a triple threat between Arsenal, Man City and, of course, Chelsea. However, there are three important things we learned about Chelsea today.

1. Eden Hazard is now the fan favorite at Chelsea

2. Jose Mourinho is without a doubt the brains of this success. 

3. Chelsea are now officially title contenders
