The Senegalese striker is unhappy with life at Chelsea after spending most of the campaign being Jose Mourinho’s third choice forward behind Samuel Eto’o and Fernando Torres.
Ba scored just five goals in 19 Premier League outings last term, 14 of which were as a substitute, although he did score the winning goal against PSG that clinched Chelsea’s place in the Champions League semi-finals.
But with the Blues reportedly close to securing a £35m move for Atletico Madrid’s Diego Costa and also hoping to tempt Ezequiel Lavezzi away from PSG, Ba’s first team chances look just as limited next term.
And Besiktas are hoping to bring the 29-year-old to Turkey to help bolster their attacking options after a disappointing season in which they could only finish third in the Turkish top-flight.
But Blues boss Jose Mourinho is hopeful of keeping Demba Ba at Stamford Bridge next season, despite clearly looking elsewhere for other strike options.
