Chelsea played their Champions League tie against Paris Saint Germain this evening looking to overturn their two goal deficit to reach the last four of Europe’s most elite competition.
At this stage of the tournament only the very best teams remain making the standard impeccably high. The Premier League may be out of Chelsea’s reach this season so this has been viewed as the Blues’s last chance of winning silverware this season.
However, they now have to fend off new contenders now. Braintree and Maccelsfield if they want to lift the Champions League trophy in May if Sky Sports are to be believed.
