Chelsea are the team to beat this season without a shadow of a doubt and they look like the most likely to win the treble of domestic competitions this season.

Last season Mourinho was up to his usual mind games and said that his team were not going to win the title and that they were merely a "small horse in the race", taking the pressure off his side by lowering expectations. He knew deep down that in his first season back without his squad the way he wanted it to be they would perhaps fall short, and they did.

His tactical genius was still evident for everyone to see with six points taken from both Manchester City and Liverpool. Since then he has done a bit of shuffling with his squad, got rid of those he didn't want and brought in the players he  felt were better equipped for the challenge and in his own words, they have "the squad that we want to have."

Of course, Chelsea's rivals have also recruited well. Man Utd have assembled their own dream team (upfront at least), Arsenal have splashed the cash for the first time in years, while Liverpool have purchased all of Southampton's team to try and strengthen their squad. So it's not as if the others have been left behind by Chelsea in terms of recruitment. But what stands the Blues out from the others is the fact that they have strengthened the areas which actually had the need to do so, and they have brought in some top drawer quality in Fabregas and Costa to slot perfectly into the gaffer's plans.

A lot of people are raving about Falcao and Di Maria at Old Trafford, but many have overlooked the quality of the two Spaniards at Chelsea because, in my opinion, they are going to do a lot more this season than United's superstars. They have combined really well already and seem to bounce of each-other brilliantly, crafting chance after chance. Three games into the new season and they have a head start in terms of game and bonding time.

You have already seen the ruthlessness Chelsea posses in front of goal with eleven goals having been scored in just their three opening games, four more than Everton who have scored seven as the Premier League's second highest scorers. I can't see many other teams being any where near as prolific in terms of scoring goals this season. Looking at other teams' squads, there is  no other team who have as much competition for places in all areas of the pitch as Mourinho's side, and I can't see any other team who goes out with the belief and confidence that they can indeed win every single game that they compete in.

Jose has got this self belief that he is the best in the world, his ego is no secret to anyone in football. The guy adores himself and has the sort of attitude that is infectious to his players; every single member of his squad has the winning mentality and the confidence to go out there believing that they are the best and putting in a performance every single week.

There is no other manager that can motivate his team in such a way, getting the stars in his team playing for the badge instead of the pay cheque and gelling everyone together in such a way as Mourinho can. He has got it all so right this time around with the players he has brought in to his team and the style of football he has them playing.

I fail to see title chasing teams being able to win the Premiership, and I also think he will be pushing to win both domestic cups as well this season. The only place I see them having any sort of trouble is in the Champions League, because the likes of Real Madrid are there to stop them and they posses that little bit more quality in their squad.

Chelsea are going to win the English treble and I have already put money on it!
