The former Potters chief recently took control at Selhurst Park, and is rumoured to have a vast budget at his disposal to add to his squad next month in a bid to avoid an immediate return to the Championship for the London club.
Pulis worked with Crouch while at the Britannia Stadium, and is known to be a huge fan of the lanky goal-getter’s abilities.
He sees the former England international man as an ideal addition to his Eagles ranks, and a player who has the experience and knowledge of the top tier to help them move clear of the relegation zone.
Crouch would also fit with Pulis direct playing style, with the 6ft. 7’ star adept at playing as a target man.
Stoke are rumoured to be willing to let the 32-year-old move on in the coming window, with Mark Hughes keen to axe his vast earnings from the club’s weekly expenditure.
Palace are open to matching his salary demands, and are confident of beating interest from QPR, where another of Crouch’s former managers in the shape of Harry Redknapp is also watching the situation.
