Crystal Palace are edging closer to securing a double swoop for Cardiff’s Frazier Campbell and Tottenham’s Gylfi Sigurdsson, according to the Express.
Tony Pulis has been tasked with strengthening his already promising squad ahead of next season as he bids to push Palace in to the Premier League’s top ten.
And it’s believed Palace have met Campbell’s £600,000 release clause and have also agreed an £8million fee for Sigurdsson, paving the way for them to start discussing personal terms.
Sigurdsson looked to have been an important member of Spurs’ squad this summer after showing promise with five goals in 25 appearances last term.
But new White Hart Lane boss Mauricio Pochettino appears to have other ideas and has given the green light for the Iceland international to make the short trip to South London.
Campbell, on the other hand, appears to be an extremely cheap acquisition for the Eagles following the former Man United youngster, who netted six times in 31 Premier League outings last term.
